where water hits the rocks
rushing into stillness
carving out the pieces
to display the transience of years
stretching over days and hours and hours and hours
collapsing into skin without a body
leaving behind an empty shell of thingness

Nocturne for skin without a body is a collective performance by Myrthe Bokelmann, Nathalie Brum, Salim Javaid, and Anna van Eck. The work explores texture, human presence, organic material, and sound on a microscopic level—continuously shifting within an ongoing cycle of transformation.

A dialogue between choreography, sound, image, and gesture unfolds—fluid and porous. Nothing remains fixed. Instead, presence flickers between the visible and the heard, between structure and dissolution.
